I was quite proud of the hubby, because he noticed as soon as he came in from shoveling...and even better, he didn't realize it was me who did it! He asked, "When do you get that love pillow?" Well, dear, it was the same boring cheap pillows we got some Target and I decided to draw on them! :)
All you need are some plain pillows and a sharpie!
I did the "Love" pillow first and first did it in pen. Not sure why, because it's not like I would have been able to erase it if it didn't go well, I would have to trace over it with the sharpie anyway. So don't bother with that step!! However, if you have pillows like mine, like mirco-fiberish, then they leave little lines when you touch it, so you can test it out with the closed sharpie cap first and then go for it.
Don't you just love them? I do! They make me happy. So much cuter than they were before.
What would you do with a sharpie and a pillow?
SOOOOO CUTE! I love this idea! You're brave for trying it out...I'd be scared I'd mess them up!
ReplyDeletethanks - I think I was only brave enough because I was really sick of these pillows and was about ready to throw them out!
DeleteI love how quick and simple this idea is!
ReplyDeleteThose turned out really cute. I would probably misspell the word. :)

haha I'm also a terrible speller :)
DeleteThey turned out great ... Hopefully there is something you can treat it with so it doesn't fade over time with washing!

O shoot - good idea, maybe I should wash my throw pillows occasionally! Um, I've never done this...yikes? :)
DeleteWhat a great idea and it's a craft that the kids can do too. Thanks!

They do look great! I've been wanting to try some permanent marker crafts for a while, but just haven't taken the plunge. This is a great project to start with!
